Cavendish Engineers Supports Essex Air Ambulance

On Sunday 12 June 35 brave volunteers turned out at the North London Parachute Centre to take part in an adrenaline fuelled parachute jump with Essex celebrity, Jodie Marsh to help raise vital funds for Essex Air Ambulance.

Despite the adverse weather conditions over half the group completed the sky dive at 10,000 feet, including Essex Air Ambulance Paramedic Chris Martin. Speaking about the jump, Chris said: “Even though the weather wasn’t ideal, we all had a fantastic day raising much needed funds for Essex Air Ambulance. Even though I ended up jumping through hail it was still awesome, a totally exhilarating experience and I would recommend it to anyone.”

Cavendish Engineers and Cavendish Aviation has a interest in the Ealrs Colne Airfield, which is recently home to the Essex Air Ambulance helicopters. Steve Allen, Managing Director of Cavendish explains more; 'Essex Air Ambulance needs £250,000 per month to carry on the tremendos work that they do. It is a brilliant cause that I am very passionate about, and we are very pleased to support and sponsor the brave jumpers from the Anglian Flight Centre anyway we can.'
